  • Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)

    • The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) strives for accurate, fair, and inclusive representation of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals in media.  The organization also works toward LGBTQ acceptance and cultural change.  You can find more information by visiting the GLAAD website.  

  • Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN)

  • Human Rights Campaign (HRC)

    • The Human Rights Campaign espouses a vision and movement of freedom, equality, empowerment, and an end to discrimination for LGBTQ+ individuals.  Visit the HRC website for additional information.

  • LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges

  • National Center for Transgender Equality

  • Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)

    • Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays is the original and largest organization that is committed to support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people and their family members.  The organization promotes a more just, caring, and supportive world for all LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones.  Learn more at PFLAG's website.  

  • Queer Cafe

  • SAGE

    • SAGE is an advocacy and service organization for LGBTQ+ elders throughout the United States. They focus on producing original publications, providing education for policy makers, and mobilizing advocacy allies across the nation to better meet the needs of aging LGBTQ+ individuals.   • True Colors United

    • True Colors United is a national organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness. Their organization focuses on education and advocacy, providing free training, online resources, and advocating at the state and national levels.   • 2022 U.S. Trans Survey
