  • Colorado 104PTC in English - the property tax/rent/heat rebate filing guide, instructions, and application.
  • 104PTC in Spanish.

  • Instructions for Form 1040 and 1040-SR in English.

The IRS Tax Payer Assistance Center can help with the following:

  • Form 2290, Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax Return (submission of tax return if unable to e-file)

Tax materials can be ordered from the IRS at:

During tax season, library catalog computers connected to a public copy machine will display a second tab that links to the IRS publications and forms page.  IRS forms and publications can be printed for .15 cents per side.

Free Tax Help by AARP

AARP offering free tax prep assistance February 1 through April 15, 2024.*

Assistance will be offered at US Bank at 422 White Avenue in Grand Junction. You must make an appointment, no drop ins.

The Grand Junction IRS office is located in the Wayne Aspinall Federal Building at 400 Rood Avenue. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Closed for lunch 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
