Consumer Reports
Direct link to Consumer Reports articles in MasterFile database. Full-text 1991 to present.
Kanopy
Kanopy makes it easy to watch some of the most critically acclaimed films ever made along with Great Courses options. Mesa County Libraries cardholders get 10 Kanopy checkouts per month, in addition to access to Kanopy Kids. Kanopy movies are available for any use, including classroom lessons and public performances. Please note, a checkout registers after 5 seconds of play. Cannot access with digital access only or temporary card.

Reference Guides
Mesa County librarians create and update guides bringing together many sources of information on a variety of topics, including health and wellness, legal information, and personal finance.

Library services

Tech Table Tuesdays - Every Tuesday from 12pm-2pm at the Central library, staff answer technology-related questions dealing with cell phones, laptops and all kinds of tech issues. Registration is NOT required.

Individual Tech Help - Every Tuesday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Central library. A volunteer is available to answer technology related questions dealing with cell phones, laptops and all kinds of tech issues. Registration IS required.

Assistive technology - In the non-fiction area of the Central library we have magnifiers, an electronic magnifier (CCTV) and an adaptive computer with a large-print keyboard, Dragon and Jaws software.

Public computers
For free computer use and internet access, come to any Mesa County Library location.
Book a Librarian
The library offers one-on-one appointments to help patrons with technology and reference questions.
Words on Wheels
Our Words on Wheels service is for patrons who are no longer able to visit a Mesa County Libraries location. From Palisade to Fruita, we deliver fiction and non-fiction books, large print books, books on CD or cassette, Play-a-ways, magazines, and movies on DVD or VHS. To find out whether you, a friend, or a family member is eligible for this service or if you have any other questions about the program, please call 970-243-4442.
