Due to COVID, computer classes are not currently available.
Computer classes - Mesa County Libraries offers an array of computer classes, including an Introduction to the Internet. View the upcoming computer classes on the library's website for more information.
Tech Table - The Central Library offers a weekly walk-up Tech Table to answer technology questions. Particularly useful for patrons with laptop, tablet and smartphone questions. The Tech Table is first come-first served from noon to 2 p.m. every Tuesday or 5-6pm every 2nd and 4th Thursday, at the Central Library. Check with your local branch about other Tech Table sessions.
Book-a-Librarian - Patrons may book one-on-one 30-minute appointments with library staff for assistance with technology and reference/research questions. To make an appointment, call us, stop by or request an appointment online.
At all Mesa County Library locations, we make great efforts to provide the safest online browsing environment possible, but internet safety requires vigilance by the user. Among other safeguards on the library's public (wired) computers, files created during a computer session, including temporary files and cookies, are automatically deleted at the end of the session and the "autocomplete" option that remembers usernames and passwords is turned off. Always remember to end your session (using the button at the bottom right of the screen).
Our wireless (wifi) is open, meaning it is not password protected. Use caution when using any open public wifi.
